He is the Chief Editor of Nepal’s leading English-language daily newspaper The Kathmandu Post. Akhilesh has authored/edited a number of articles, reports and books. Other than Nepal’s newspapers, he has also written for international publications, including The New York Times, New York Newsday, Outlook (India) and Independent (Bangladesh). A former CNN correspondent for Nepal, he is regularly featured in national/regional/international newspapers/TV/radio as a commentator. A New York University graduate, he has held several high-level positions in the development sector.
