Shankar Limbu

Mr. Shankar Limbu is an advocate. Shankar is a human rights attorney with the Lawyers’ Association for Human Rights of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples (LAHURNIP) and a leader in his field. LAHURNIP provides free legal aid services and promotes the human rights of indigenous peoples in Nepal. He is an expert on Social Inclusion of Indigenous Peoples. He has worked as an expert in the National Inclusion Commission (NIC), Commissioned by Nepal Government. Comprehensive study on Indigenous Peoples' in state restructuring process was prepared and submitted to the Nepal Government by NIC. He is currently a PIL Net Fellow at Columbia Law School.
